Wild Earth’s Quintin Quider – founder & director

It was the sea and not the land that originally held Wild Earths owner Quintin Quider’s heart. A commercial diver, he fell in love with New Zealand’s rugged landscape and moved with his partner and young family to Stewart Island, wishing to escape the rat-race that was life in his Southern California birthplace. The lure of wine growing soon followed as he developed a passion for New Zealand Pinot Noir. Never one to turn his back on a challenge, when the opportunity to purchase a vineyard in the worlds most Southern wine growing region presented itself, Quintin seized it. The Wild Earth journey had begun.

Our production methods are an honest expression of the land and our unique food & wine experience remains true to its roots in this welcoming country.
