Silky fine tannins, inviting fruit aromas and serious underlying structure showcase the hallmarks of this distinctive Bannockburn site. Harmonious and inviting as a young wine, it will continue to develop and give enjoyment for 10+ years.

Deep garnet colour with intense aromas of cherry, blackberry, cedar, wild thyme, mushroom and earthy loam. The cooler 2017 vintage has delivered a wine with tremendous concentration and a remarkable core with layers of dark red fruit wild herb and distinctive earthy flavours complementing a richly textured palate. Silky fine tannins, vibrant fruit and intense aromas complement a serious structure with so much finesse. Harmonious and rich, this Pinot is drinking beautifully as a young wine and should continue to deliver enjoyment for 12+ years.

Deep ruby in colour with aromas of roses, briar and a hint of vanilla. Fine tannins and good weight, underpinning dark cherry, blackberry, spice and briar notes with a hint of oak. Well balanced, good length and a persistent finish.

We've selected two very special Pinot Noir clones (5 and 115) from the Bannockburn vineyard. These vines have such an individuality to them, we decided to present you with our first 'Special Edition' Pinot Noir. 

Vibrant purple with pink hues. Perfumed on the nose with red and black cherry fruit, violets, spice and dried herbs with a touch of vanilla and smoke. Lush, supple red fruit on the palate with leather, tobacco and hints of chocolate. This wine has ample silky, fine grained tannins, a fresh and vibrant acidity and a long mineral finish. Truly something special

Deep purple with purple hues. Ripe cherry and dark fruit on the nose, with complex savoury aromas of leather and mushroom, together with a hint of dried herbs. Concentrated, rich, ripe plum and cherry on the palate with mouth caressing, velvety tannins. This wine has a lovely minerality and an extremely long finish.

Our 2019 Pinot Noir Rosé has a beautiful pale pink hue that hints at the delicious array of red fruit aromas that will unfold in the glass. Intensely aromatic, the floral notes and bright red fruit sing beautifully of “classic” Central Otago Rosé. Enticing aromas of cherry, wild strawberry, and raspberry are carried long on the palate by the incredible creamy texture. It is a dry style Rosé with great concentration and sweet red fruit that is perfectly balanced by vibrant acidity which is the hallmark of wines from Gibbston and a result of our decision to pick early..
